We will be promoting our current reader instance to the writer role and transitioning the current writer to a reader. Why: This is a routine procedure to verify failover integrity and rebalance infrastructure load. What to expect: A brief connection reset (typically less than 60 seconds) as the DNS/endpoint propagates to the new primary instance. Some applications might need a bit more time to re-establish DB connections.
